We’re excited to announce that this season, we’re sponsoring the Metropolitan Police Rugby Football Club
The Metropolitan Police Rugby Football Club (MPRFC) was established in 1923 and since its formation, the team has been made up of serving and former police officers as well as their close relatives. The people involved in this club, including the supporters, represent the people we serve every single day and we are ecstatic to be able to show our support to the club that represents the Metropolitan Police by becoming a sponsor.
Ben Grainger, our Chief Operating Officer said of the sponsorship:
‘We are delighted to be sponsoring the Metropolitan Police Rugby Football Club this season and look forward to seeing them go from strength to strength!’
We also caught up with MPRFC team coach Gavin Bolton, who said the following:
‘We are really privileged at the Met Rugby Club to be in partnership with Metfriendly this year. We are very thankful that we have got a company with shared goals and objectives around values in policing and looking after staff just like we are, and we look forward to a successful future together.’
Come and support the team at their home ground Imber Court Sports Club. For a full list of team fixtures, visit their website. We hope to see you there soon!
